CSI Launch Next-Gen Travel Software for Hovertravel

We are proud to launch a new travel booking system for Hovertravel, the world’s longest-running commercial hovercraft operator. The system is one of CSI Media’s biggest ever projects and represents a significant advancement and investment in Hover’s digital infrastructure.

Hovertravel is the only scheduled passenger-hovercraft service in Europe. They provide the fastest route across The Solent ensuring a speedy journey for tourists and business professionals travelling between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

The new and advanced travel booking system comprises of a new B2C website, a back-office admin system and integrated booking functionality - all of which have been custom designed and developed by a team of UX/UI designers and software developers at CSI Media.

Passengers visiting the Isle of Wight can book their next hovercraft journey via the new website, whilst staff at Hover can manage ticketing, hovercraft inventory and customer records in the back-office admin. Furthermore, the new system integrates with Hovertravel’s pre-existing EPOS till system, so Hover’s customer service team can print tickets via dedicated cashier booking screens.
