The website has been built using Umbraco, an open source .NET content management system (CMS) which puts the team at Adventure Alternative in control of their site. The CMS allows the team to publish, edit and modify their website content from their central admin system. Amongst many other benefits, a CMS driven website is a cost effective approach to website design and development as Gavin and co no longer need a developer each time they want to make website changes.
