SureDesign, a subsidiary of the Sure Retail Equipment brand, have a world-class reputation for designing innovative retail spaces that deliver unique and engaging shopping experiences. Their clientele consists of some of the biggest names in retail including The-Co-operative, Well Pharmacy and Heron Foods.
SureDesign required a new, responsive website with a clean and slick UI that performed well from a technical and SEO perspective. The previous website wasn’t particularly inspiring as Sure were restricted to blocks of small images which failed to effectively present the shelving product. Their potential clients need to visualise how the product can bring a retail space to life.
Finally, their marketing team needed a high-level of autonomy over the content on their website.
We worked with the SureDesign team to fully grasp their content requirements, the type of design they were looking for and, of course, get a feel for their brand and the product. We also collaborated with Sure by conducting a competitor analysis, and by developing an insight into their target market - the type of people and organisations who would ultimately be using the site.
Our research indicated that it was important for the website to strike a chord with visual merchandisers and marketing personnel, to have an impact on key decision makers.
SureDesign provide a very visual product and, subsequently, we wanted to ‘let the images speak for themselves’. Therefore, we designed a website that is very much image-focused, allowing Sure to show off their catalogue of visually-striking work with lifestyle photography. This enables the visual merchandisers and marketers to realise what can be achieved with the product in real-life scenarios.
The design - responsive across all the latest devices as per all our websites - features a high-contrast colour scheme of black, white and green, for a distinctive brand identity and prominent call-to-actions. The website is built on an Umbraco CMS, giving the marketing team a high-level of freedom over content and the layout of pages. We also developed an enquiry form that stores client enquiries in the Umbraco system.
As part of the project, we also created a new logo, letterhead and business card designs to strengthen SureDesign’s brand identity...
