CSI Media provide comprehensive Umbraco maintenance and support. You can either opt for a retainer package which gives you a set number of hours each month OR an hourly, 'ad-hoc' agreement. Once migrated, we can support with new-feature implementation, integrations, UX improvements, digital marketing support, major and minor upgrades.
We ensure the transition process of moving your solution to CSI Media is as easy as possible, by following a set process that we have successfully completed many times.
Prior to completing any development work, we will conduct a code review of your Umbraco solution to familiarise ourselves with your system and to identify any technical issues that may be impacting website performance, data, security, and user experience – our findings will be presented to you in a professional report.
CSI Media are experts in performing Umbraco upgrades, and CMS platforms need to be periodically upgraded for new features, bug fixes, performance enhancements, and - perhaps most importantly - security patches.
Umbraco 7's end-of-life was September 2023, whilst Umbraco 8's end-of-life is on the horizon (February 2025). When we reach these dates, Umbraco will no longer provide fixes for security issues that may arise, so there is a heightened security vulnerability for your system. (Please note, upgrades are major projects that can take several months (subject to the complexity of your system) so we advise that you get the ball rolling as soon as possible).
Here at CSI Media, we are now developing new websites in Umbraco 13, the latest Long-Term Support (LTS) version of the popular CMS platform. Furthermore, we continue to work with companies on their existing Umbraco solution - whatever the version - for ongoing design and development updates, website maintenance, health checks, and upgrades.
